Uploading pictures has been difficult here at the hotel. I even went the business center today and couldn't log into blogger from there at all. Anyway, we have lots more to post and will do that asap.
Yesterday we went to the Pearl Market with the Wu's--that was fun. Jon is THE Master Bargainer. He would haggle the merchants down--way further down than we would have been able to. We also heard lots of stories about Lily--we loved that. We are so glad to have met them!
Today we climbed the Great Wall--got loads of great pics. We are exhausted and REALLY need to shower. And we're STARVING. Oh--we also toured the Ming Tombs. Tomorrow we'll go to the Forbidden City then Monday it's off to the airport to fly to Changchun to meet the Lilster! WE CAN'T WAIT!!

I am so excited for you to meet Lily! How are you hearing stories about her? Does your guide know Lily? you have had such a unique experience to have all of these photos and inforamtion about Lily. How wonderful for you now and for Lily later. I hope you bought some pearls for her. Dave bought two strands (one small and one larger) and a bracelet for us to give Kate over the years. Cannot wait to see "forever family day"
